Shen Shiatsu/Bodywork is a multidimensional synthesis of Shiatsu – the poetry of movement and osteopathy – the poetry of rhythms. 
It is an approach that brings together the wisdom of the east and west and provides the practitioner with practical opportunities to specifically train and develop her palpatory and perceptive awareness.

Shen Shiatsu/Bodywork has been developed by Jörg Schürpf who began his career in bodywork in 1992 at the International Macrobiotic Institute in Kiental, Switzerland. For years he worked closely with Saul Goodman and his team, developing and teaching Shin Tai in Switzerland and later developing Quantum Bodywork in Switzerland and Germany as well as teaching Quantum Bodywork at the International School of Shiatsu in Austria. From 2000 to 2005 Jörg trained at the German College of Traditional Osteopathy – DOK to refine his insights and understanding of the human body.

WHAT IS THE SHEN MASTER TRAINING
It is a training for professional bodyworkers seeking to constantly improve and refine their palpation and perception skills.

Shen Shiatsu/Bodywork is born out of a period of stillness and introspection. It perfectly reflects Jörg’s evolution from Hara Awareness deepened thanks to martial arts and Shiatsu/Shin Tai to Mental Awareness developed and improved thanks to Quantum Bodywork. Shen Shiatsu/Bodywork is the final step in his per- sonal evolution and the fruit of his personal experience and the ever growing understanding that healing always takes place thanks to Shen – the Awareness and Stillness of the Heart. With Shen Shiatsu/Bodywork Jörg shares with practitioners from all fields of bodywork a founded synthesis based on the reconnection of Head-Heart and Hara, also called the H3 Integration Process.

Today, Jörg is committed to share and teach his multidimensional approach in a brain-user friendly way al- lowing each participant to train her skills, deepen her knowledge of the human body in regards to anatomy and the physiology of health and develop a positive, creative attitude towards the miracle of life.
Shen Shiatsu/Bodywork is for all bodywork practitioners with at least 2 years of practical experience in the field of bodywork and body awareness.
