Visibility: By becoming a member of the BSF, you increase your visibility: as a shiatsu practitioner, your contact details will be displayed on the BSF website, promoting you through our list of Shiatsu practitioners*. You'll be talked about on social networks.

Quality/Safety: Becoming a member of the BSF means being highly competent as a shiatsu practitioner. Not only because the federation brings together training centres of the highest standards, but also because as a member you commit yourself to continuing education throughout your career and to respecting the values and the code of ethics of the profession.

Membership: By becoming a member of the BSF, you become part of the shiatsu family in Belgium and in the world. You can participate in the consultation and the work of the federation by joining a committee (communication, recognition, ...) or by participating in the general assembly or a public action. Your contacts within the world of Shiatsu grow.

Recognition of the profession: Shiatsu has its place in Belgium within health and welfare practices. However, many people are not yet aware of its benefits, especially in political and health care circles. This is a win-win situation: your membership contribution helps us to make Shiatsu better known in our society while your number of potential clients will grow.
